Comic Book Fun!
If you’ve been here before, you probably know that I’m a TOTAL Photoshop nerd/junky. I would play with it all day long if I didn’t have a job, friends and a BlackBerry.
My latest quest was learning how to make a “comic book effect” for my photos. I found tons of tutorials online, but none of them (by themselves) provided me with the exact result I was looking for. So I took a little of this, a little of that and a little of my own trial and error and came up with what I wanted all along. Yay me!
I’d like to give credit where it’s due, and these two sites were very helpful to my learning: MelissaClifton.com and PhotoshopRoadmap.com. So thank you so very much for sharing your big brains with the world.

I love it! I have wasted countless hours playing with pictures and my cartoon drawings, just to make a pic that hardly anyone sees.

these pics are really cool. i’ve seen a program on the web that allows you to drop our pictures in a comic book template to do something like this.

Thank you, EVERYONE for saying nice things about them.
No, I won’t be posting a tutorial… The way I do it is fast, for ME, but loooooong “on paper”. LOL That and since every photo has many different features (lighting is a big one), how I end up with that look takes a lot of trial and error.
It WAS fun though- so I highly recommend visiting the sites I linked to, if you wanna try it for yourself.
I’m off to read all your blogs now! I’m SO behind!
