Happy 4th of July!
I hope everyone (who celebrates today) has a fabulous holiday, and doesn’t blow anything up or set anything on fire. And by “anything”, I mean “yourselves”.
I’m sure y’all are expecting me to be out tonight, raising hell and drinking my body weight in beer. But not tonight. Cops will be all OVER the place and I don’t need that stress. I also don’t need the hangover (tomorrow) that going out tonight would provide me. My Saturdays are long and painful at work and that’s without a head full woodpeckers, neausea and cotton mouth.
So while everyone else is drinking beer and eating various BBQ’d meats, I’m going to spend THIS 4th with my mama. Safe, sound and hydrated.

Now corrina if you don’t go out, I don’t go out. I depend on you to get my drink on. I just bought a bottle of wine on my freaking lunch hour, that’s how wonderful my job is. When I go for a walk, I might take a sip.
Cops don’t bother you, you are free to roam around the country with an expired registration. Lol Hey you got that taken care of right?

I tried to have it both ways: getting drunk AND spending the day with my mom. It didn’t work out very well.

Marvin - I had a fun time with mom. She cooked a bunch of fab food and I gained about 50 lbs. lol
Natural - I’m so sorry for not taking you out on the 4th. LOL And no, it’s not resolved yet but I’m working on it. It’s a process.
JD - Mom made fried chicken, tri-tip, chili beans, corn on the cob, Summer salad, and an assortment of cut up fruit. RIDICULOUS for just us, but it was all SO good!
