There’s A Woodpecker In My Head
If it’s possible to die from a hangover then it will happen today. It doesn’t help that it’s a thousand degrees outside. Even my dogs look hungover.
Have you ever had Tuaca? Here’s the thing: I love to shoot it chilled. And I either consume it sparingly, or I drink it like I’m going down on a plane. Last night was not a “sparingly” night. Last night I was on a Cessna headed for a mountain.
I met up with my girl Becca after work and we were soon joined by several other girlfriends. Some of whom had been drinking since like 3 in the afternoon. I was in good company. We laughed, we drank and we laughed some more. Everything is funny when you’re drunk.
I ran into Scrubs and we bullshitted a little bit. Every time I see him I get flashbacks of our night together and I then have to get the hell away from him. I’m 85% sure that I’ll end up hooking up with him again at some point, though. I rarely deny myself good stuff in general, so I don’t see why I should put a ban on the goodness that is Scrubs. The guy’s got skills where it counts and I think I should benefit from that. Again. But for now, I’m behaving myself.
I never did make it home to hang out with my neighbor and his Cute Friend. I fully intended to, but I was having too much fun being out in the world. By the time I was done with that, it was very late and Neighbor was in bed. Maybe they’ll hang out again soon. I’m really hoping so.
I must go now and catch up on my blog reading, asprin taking and water drinking.

What is this Tuaca you speak of? Some kind of vodka or gin type thing?

Yes, My Favorite Martian, he does have goodness to offer. LOL I don’t think I can sample everything that passes by, however! I’ll leave that to the professionals.

I have never had Tuaca straight…it’s always been mixed into another drink…apparently it’s good though! I agree with Jeff - sounds like you had a ton of fun! Here’s to pseudo-Fridays.

Angi - Oooo you should try it as a shot, but make sure it’s VERY chilled. SO good! And yes, we had a lot of fun.
