My Next Fix

I’m not too crazy about the itty bitty keys, but my partner in CrackBerry crime says I’ll get used to them. Other than that, and the fact I have to call Tech Support Monday, because AT&T can’t get their multimedia shit together, I am quite pleased with it. It beats the shit out of the Pearl, that’s for sure.
Peace and CrackBerrys.

I just got Mrs. T the Blackjack II on Thursday. She loves it. She had the Blackjack I for over a year and loves the changes. She looked at the Blackberrys and thought the keyboards were to small. If this doesn’t work out for you, check out the Blackjack II. Take care.

Hi Jake! I did actually SERIOUSLY consider the Blackjack II. One of my girlfriends has one and she loves it. I did a lot of research and comparison, but then decided I wanted to try out the CrackBerry, as I’ve owned Samsungs before but never a BB. I’m trying to expand my horizons, if you will. LOL I’m glad your wife loves hers too- they ARE very nice phones from what I’ve seen and learned.
Thanks for the comment!

Good for you! I couldn’t figure out what you were doing with a Pearl (not much, it seems). This is much more suitable for the amount of texting you do.
You must be rich, to trade out phones every month!

This looks like a lot of fun. Perhaps next time I invest in a new phone, I should actually get one with letter keys…I’m one of those texters who texts like there’s no tomorrow…

OK. I’m 100% addicted to my CrackBerry. And I have MAJOR man-hands. You eventually get used to it. But I’m totally biased!
And Corrina: If your CrackBerry experience turns out the way mine has, you’ll soon be experiencing “ghost pains” whenever the phone is not in your hand. (You know, it’s the feeling amputees experience after losing a hand or foot. Only this feeling is completely stupid and should never be compared to something as traumatizing as amputatation. But I did anyway.)
Sometimes I find myself moving my thumb up & down as if to be “scrolling” on some invisible menu.
I know. I’m a freak. But I totally own it.

Marvin - Yeah, I was just trying out the Pearl as a way to familiarize myself with BlackBerrys. The Curve IS kick ass for texting… I’m getting a lot of mileage out of it so far. ha ha
Angi - Oooo I LOVE it. So far I’m giving it a 10 out of 10. AT&T, however is getting a 2. And I’m with you on the texting… I’m crazy with it. lol
Natural - They are, indeed, tiny. I’m still getting used to them. Funny you said that too because I DID have to cut my nails to text effectively.
It was worth it though.
Fashion - LOL! You’re too funny. I can already imagine the weird feeling of not having it in my hand. I can’t put the damn thing down! Ooo… You just Twittered me to Marvin’s blog… Off I go…

I have a pearl– is the curve easier to type on? My husband’s crackberry’s numbers seem so small compared to the curve.. or am I smokin crack?

I’m about to buy a crackberry too but the ones I were looking at were the Pearl. I do do a lot of texting but I just can’t see why I should buy something that big like that one. Are there any advantages? I carry my phone around in my pocket so even though the Pearl is a bit bigger than my Sony Ericsson right now it is thinner.

FloridagirlinSydney - The Curve is WAY easier to type on. I can text way faster than with my old Pearl. They are smaller, but you get used to them. I wasn’t sure I would but I did.
Hi Blueyes - I agree that the Pearl is cute and very compact, but my Curve really isn’t that much bigger. It just looks that way in the photo. It fits comfortably in my hand and I love the laid-out keypad. It makes texting very easy. I also LOVE the big screen. It also has a WAY better camera and more features than the Pearl.

I am impressed by Sony Ericsson’s new touch phone. I have been using BB products for many years but their new touch phone make the difference.

On another blog i was reading about “XPERIA™ X1″ and that phone impressed me a lot. I have used BlackBerry gadgets a little way back but I needed a change. After reading the snippet on BB here, I am thinking again to change my choice.
