Quirky Is The New Sexy, Right?
Meme time kids.
Marvin the Martian tagged me for a “share 6 fucked up things about yourself” meme. Only he called them “quirks”. I don’t consider myself particularly quirky… Fucked up, however, I can work with. So let’s get this party started, shall we?

1. I am addicted to Lipton Iced Tea (sweetened, no lemon). I drink about 4-6 bottles a day. This is probably why I’m an insomniac.
2. I absolutely HATE talking on the phone. It’s too much of a commitment for me, and my attention span is way too short. Therefore I text. A lot. (Thankfully my bff is the exact same way.)
3. I rarely wake up before noon. This is the perk of working nights.
4. I have a girl crush on Gina Gershon. I would totally make out with her. Sober.
5. Every time I watch LOTR Return of the King, I cry every time Sam does.
6. I shake my leg to get to sleep. I’ve been doing that since I was little. It still works, so I still do it.
And there ya have it. Six things you could have lived your whole life without knowing. You’re welcome.

Natural - I don’t even remember the last one I tagged you for! LOL No worries though… I know they can be a pain if you don’t have time for them.
Angi - I figured that since I tagged people who come here regularly, you’d all see the tag eventually. HA! Oh yeah, and I’m lazy. I’m happy to have been the first to tag you!
Drowsey - I was lucky that The Ex didn’t mind but I’m sure I won’t find another one who doesn’t. lol Luckily my dogs don’t care at all.
I don’t know why I like her, but Gina Gershon is just very sexy to me. Weird, I know.

Oh my yes, quirky IS sexy for sure.
#2 - that’s a surprise! I would not think the Pearl would be a good texting tool. I want the LG um um um what is that thing, Envy. But it’s just best if I don’t text, really. No time, no reason to, and annoys the wife.
#4 - she IS pretty. I like “Pretty Girls on Prozac,” very laid-back. I don’t think I’ve ever heard an alto clarinet used on a pop track. It’s a neglected instrument, really. I played it some, but oboe and tenor sax were more fun.
#5 - really! Every time I see Gandalf charge his white horse straight down the side of the hill, I laugh, because no horse would ever do that. But it IS a fun movie.
#6- interesting ritual. I just lay down and I’m asleep within five seconds. Sleep and eat when you can - you never know when you’ll get another chance.

We have a lot in common!!! I can relate to 4 out of 6. The leg shaking thing used to bother my husband, now if when we lay down to go to sleep he asks me “Can you do your little leg shaking thingy that you do?” I guess it’s like rocking someone to sleep. I just noticed I do in my office too ;o)

I miss working the night shift, sleeping until 2 or 3 used to be the best part of it. Oh, for the good ol’ days.

Lisa Lisa - The Ex liked the leg shaking thing too, for the same reason. It was kind of like a two-fer. LOL
JT - I don’t know how to explain it… I just kind of move it back and forth. It rocks me to sleep. And yes, I LOVE working nights because I LOVE sleeping late. I don’t know how I could ever have a day job.
