My phone is unlocked. (It's usable in any country.) I only buy unlocked phones for that very reason. The only phone I've ever had that was carrier-specific was the iPhone. Most of my phones, in fact, were not even released in the U.S. when I purchased them (some still aren't), yet worked perfectly on our networks. My problem isn't with the phone. I'm sure of that. I just don't think she got the info transferred correctly to my device. They've done that to me before. Switching from an iPhone to another phone is tricky (I'm sure they make it that way on purpose!) and I'm not surprised it didn't work flawlessly. It took her about 15 minutes just to get the iPhone plan off of my account. I can't really blame her though... She was feelin' a little giddy. lol JD - I am voting for gas pains over a Brazilian.
