Natural - I have glasses, but I only wear them at home… They aren’t very attractive on me. haha

F.P. - Don’t think I didn’t think of doing that! Ha ha! But how to secure the Photoshopped eye to my face? Hmmm… That was my dilemma.

Honeybell - I am inclined to believe that Danny is right about me being completely dehydrated, and that’s why I had such trouble. Soberly, I’ve never done that.

Danny - Hi sweetie! Like I said, I agree with ya. My eyes are pretty dry normally, so add booze and they are like the Sahara. Makes sense. Unfortunately, it is only after a night out with friends that I forget to take them out.

A lot of people sleep with their contacts without nearly as much trouble… so I think most of your trouble came from the fact that you had been out drinking and then went to sleep without rehydrating a little.

As I’m sure everyone knows by now…. drinking dehydrates you - and so I would imagine that includes tear production. Same thing with pot. Some have cotton mouth, while others who wear contacts become the subject of famouse songs - like Cotton Eye Joe.

Anyway…… So drinking a lot + going to bed without rehydrating + leaving contacts in = eyeballs attempt mutiny.

Glad your feeling better Ms. Corrina…. Take care of these million dollar eyes. =)

Ouch, I’ve always slept in my contacts, even before the overnight kind were around. Thankfully I never did have a problem, but then I suppose extreme laziness overcomes all. :p

Oh, MAN! And I thought I had it bad when I wake up with goop in my eye from allergies . . . makes glasses sound much more appealing. You know, you’re creative enough in PhotoShop to take one of your good pictures, blow it up to life size, and cover the eyepatch with the image of your “good” eye. Maybe no one would notice! (Ok. That was lame. I’m all out of funny today.)

Kathy - It’s a miracle my cornea did NOT come off with my contact… I was doing some serious poking.

Barbara - Thank you for your sympathy illustration… Very cute. lol Don’t be afraid of your contacts… I am a very poor poster child to look at.

Hey, at least you have one working eye, right? Just squint. You can say that you’re pretending to see the future, and it’s not pretty. Actually, Pru has an eyepatch you could borrow. (http://pru-wonderworld.blogspot.com). Just wear a big Barbossa-style hat with it. Very stylish.
